Does West Wind Dental Remove Wisdom Teeth?

In this video, Dr. Robert Ellis shares his background in oral surgery, why it remains one of his favorite parts of dentistry, and how his office provides comprehensive surgical care without frequent referrals.

I’ve been practicing dentistry for 24 years, and from the very beginning, I had a strong interest in oral surgery. During dental school at Marquette, I spent most of my senior year in the oral surgery department and even considered becoming an oral surgeon. At the time, though, with two young daughters and student loans to manage, I chose to go straight into practice instead.

Since then, I’ve completed extensive continuing education in extractions and surgical procedures, and oral surgery remains one of my favorite parts of dentistry. I perform wisdom tooth extractions in my office almost every day, from simple cases to fully impacted teeth, and rarely need to refer patients out.

Our goal has always been to be a complete dental office, offering as many services as possible while maintaining a high level of care. We take pride in doing that well.
