What Should I Expect During My First Visit at West Wind Dental?

In this video, Dr. Grant Cordner walks you through what to expect at your first appointment at West Wind Dental, from digital X-rays and a doctor review to your initial cleaning.

Your first appointment at West Wind Dental is designed to be thorough and comfortable. When you arrive, you’ll check in at the front desk and complete your medical history forms so we have the information needed to properly diagnose and plan your care.

From there, one of our dental assistants will take you to one of our open-concept operatories and capture digital X-rays. The doctor will then review the images with you on-screen, explaining any areas of concern and discussing both what he recommends and any specific concerns you’d like addressed.

In most cases, your first visit will also include a cleaning. Our hygienist will measure your gums, evaluate your oral health, and then perform either a routine cleaning or, if needed, schedule you for additional treatment at a later appointment.

If you or someone you love is struggling with missing teeth or loose dentures, contact Dr. Robert Ellis in Rigby, ID, for a free consultation to learn how our life-changing treatments can enhance your smile, improve your function, and restore your self-confidence.

Overcoming Dental Anxiety: How Dr. Ellis Helps Patients Feel Calm and Comfortable

Before he even saw the phantom, Shaggy’s legs shook like a weather vane in a windstorm. “Ruh roh! Rhost!” shouted Scooby-Doo.
